Who we are
PICCADILLY STITCH is the trading name used by Patric Machado Tebaldi, an individual seller established at Rua Desembargador Paulo Alonso, 875, Apt 302, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, 22790-540, Brazil. Patric Machado Tebaldi is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Our privacy contact is supportpiccadillystitch@gmail.com. -
Scope
This policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal data when you visit this website, create an account, contact us or buy goods. It also explains how we use cookies and your rights under applicable UK data-protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. -
Personal data we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
• identity and contact data, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address;
• order and transaction data, such as products purchased, order value, delivery status, returns and refunds;
• account data, such as login details, saved preferences and order history;
• communications data, including messages, customer-service requests, reviews and survey responses;
• technical and usage data, such as IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, session information and security logs;
• marketing and preference data, such as newsletter choices and cookie-consent settings; and
• fraud-prevention and verification information supplied by payment, security or identity-verification providers.
Payment-card details are handled by the payment providers made available at checkout. We do not intend to receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes.
-
How we collect personal data
We collect data directly from you when you place an order, create an account, complete a form, contact us, subscribe to marketing or choose cookie settings. We also receive data automatically through the website and cookies, and from service providers involved in payments, fraud prevention, fulfilment, delivery, analytics and customer support. -
Why we use personal data and our lawful bases
We use personal data:
• to process orders, take payment, arrange delivery, handle returns and provide customer service — because it is necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps at your request before entering a contract;
• to keep financial, tax and compliance records and respond to lawful requests — because we must comply with legal obligations;
• to prevent fraud, secure the website, troubleshoot problems and protect our business and customers — for our legitimate interests in operating a safe and reliable store, balanced against your rights;
• to improve products, services and the website — for our legitimate interests where the use is proportionate, or with consent where cookies or similar technologies require it;
• to send marketing communications — with consent where required, or under another lawful route permitted for existing customers, with a clear opportunity to opt out; and
• to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — for our legitimate interests and where necessary under applicable law.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
-
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files or similar technologies placed on or accessed from your device. The site may use:
• strictly necessary cookies for security, network operation, shopping-basket functions, checkout, authentication and recording privacy choices;
• functional cookies to remember preferences and improve features;
• analytics cookies to understand visits, traffic and site performance; and
• advertising or marketing cookies to measure campaigns, personalise marketing or recognise visitors across services.
Strictly necessary cookies may operate without consent where they are essential to provide a service you request. Functional, analytics and advertising cookies will be used only after valid consent where UK law requires it. Simply continuing to browse does not count as consent.
-
Managing cookie choices
Use the cookie banner or cookie-settings control on the website to accept, reject or change non-essential cookie categories. You may withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect essential site functions. The cookie-settings tool should provide the current cookie names, providers, purposes and durations because these may change when site services are updated. -
Sharing personal data
We may share personal data only where necessary with:
• Wix.com and related hosting, ecommerce, account, communications and website-service providers;
• payment processors and fraud-prevention providers selected through checkout;
• suppliers, fulfilment providers, postal operators and delivery carriers;
• IT, security, analytics, marketing and customer-support providers, subject to consent where required;
• accountants, insurers, legal advisers and other professional advisers;
• regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, tax authorities or other public authorities where legally required; and
• a purchaser or successor if all or part of the business is sold, reorganised or transferred, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.
Service providers may use personal data only for authorised purposes and must protect it appropriately. We do not sell personal data for money.
-
International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where UK law restricts a transfer, we use an applicable lawful safeguard, such as UK adequacy regulations, an approved international data-transfer agreement or addendum, or another safeguard recognised by UK law. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data. -
How long we retain data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements. In general:
• order, payment and accounting records may be retained for up to six years after the relevant transaction or longer where law requires;
• account data is normally kept while the account remains active and for a reasonable period after closure;
• customer-service records are retained for as long as needed to resolve the matter and manage legal claims;
• marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer needed, while limited suppression records may be retained to respect an opt-out; and
• cookie and technical-data retention depends on the cookie or service and should be shown in the cookie-settings tool.
We may anonymise data so it can no longer identify you and use the anonymised information for statistical purposes.
-
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access is limited to people and providers who need the data for authorised purposes. No online service is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential. -
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have the right to:
• request access to your personal data;
• ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of data;
• request restriction of processing;
• object to processing, including direct marketing;
• receive certain data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time; and
• complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We normally respond within the period required by law and do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
-
Direct marketing
You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a message or contacting us. We will stop direct marketing as required, although we may still send non-marketing communications needed for orders, accounts, safety notices or legal obligations. -
Children
The store is not intended to collect personal data directly from children. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to assist with purchases. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate involvement so we can review and take suitable action. -
Automated decision-making
Payment and fraud-prevention providers may use automated tools to assess transactions. If a solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects and UK law gives you relevant rights, you may ask for information, human review or to challenge the decision. -
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted through the website or another appropriate channel. -
Contact and complaints
For privacy questions or to exercise a right, contact us through the customer-service email address shown in the site footer. Please describe your request clearly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at www.ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, but contacting us does not limit your right to complain to the ICO.
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 3 September 2026
-
About us and how to contact us
PICCADILLY STITCH is the trading name used by Patric Machado Tebaldi, an individual seller established at Rua Desembargador Paulo Alonso, 875, Apt 302, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, 22790-540, Brazil. Our customer-service email address is supportpiccadillystitch@gmail.com. The business address identifies the seller but is not a returns facility; please contact us by email before sending any product. -
About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply when a consumer orders goods from this website. Please read them before placing an order. They operate together with our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law. -
Products
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Images are illustrative, colours may vary slightly between screens and packaging may differ. Please review the product description, measurements, materials, care information and size guide before ordering. Availability is subject to stock. -
Orders and contract formation
Your order is an offer to buy the goods in your basket. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself mean that we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we send confirmation that the goods have been dispatched, unless we expressly state another point of acceptance at checkout. If we cannot accept an order, we will inform you and refund any amount paid for the unavailable goods. We may refuse an order for a lawful and reasonable reason, including unavailability, an obvious pricing or description error, failed payment authorisation or suspected fraud. -
Prices and delivery charges
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and VAT is not currently added or separately itemised at checkout. If our VAT status changes, the checkout and applicable transaction documents will be updated before VAT is charged or shown. Delivery charges and the total payable amount are shown before you place the order. If a price is obviously incorrect and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and refund any payment made. -
Payment
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. Payment is processed securely by the payment providers made available through the website. We do not add a payment surcharge unless it is permitted by law and clearly disclosed before the order is placed. -
Delivery
Delivery destinations, charges, estimates, address responsibilities, delays and risk are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Unless another delivery period is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and normally within 30 days after the contract is made. Risk passes to you when the goods are physically received by you or by a person you identify, except where you independently choose a carrier that we did not offer. -
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and receive a refund are explained in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy. For most eligible goods, you may notify us of cancellation within 14 days after receipt and then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Statutory exceptions may apply, including certain personalised goods and unsealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons. -
Faulty or misdescribed goods
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Your statutory remedies may include the short-term right to reject faulty goods, repair or replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Please contact us promptly using the customer-service email address shown in the footer. -
Promotions and discount codes
A promotion or discount code is subject to any specific conditions shown with it, including eligibility, dates and product exclusions. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or combined. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is a genuine error, fraud or misuse, without affecting contracts already lawfully accepted. -
Customer accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login details confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or use it for unlawful or fraudulent activity. -
Intellectual property
The website and its original text, branding, graphics and layout are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission. Product names, images and trademarks owned by third parties remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the website for personal shopping purposes. -
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. This website supplies goods for private consumer use; we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, revenue or opportunity. -
Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact you where appropriate. If there is a substantial delay, your legal rights may allow you to end the contract and receive a refund for goods not supplied. -
Complaints
Contact us through the customer-service email address shown in the site footer and include your name, order number and a clear description of the issue. We will review complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable time. These terms do not require you to use a particular dispute-resolution process or prevent you from taking legal action. -
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders to reflect legal, operational or service changes. The terms applying to your purchase are those made available when your order was placed. Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing contract unless required by law or agreed with you. -
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the protection of any mandatory laws that apply where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Customers living in England or Wales may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. -
General
If any part of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. No person other than you and the seller has a right to enforce this contract, except where the law provides otherwise. -
Contact
For questions about an order or these terms, contact us using the customer-service email address shown in the site footer.
Payment Policy
Effective date: 30 August 2026
Scope
This Payment Policy applies to purchases made through the PICCADILLY STITCH online store. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy, and Privacy Policy & Cookies.
Currency and total price
All prices and order totals are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). VAT is not currently added or separately itemised at checkout. The total payable, including delivery charges and any other mandatory costs, will be displayed before you place your order. If our VAT status changes, the checkout and applicable transaction documents will be updated before VAT is charged or shown. We do not add hidden payment charges.
Available payment methods
The payment methods currently available for your order are those displayed at checkout. Availability may depend on your device, location, order value and the payment providers enabled on the site. A payment option is not available unless it appears at checkout.
Payment authorisation
By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the billing information you provide is complete and accurate. Your card issuer or payment provider may require identity verification or additional authentication. We are not responsible for authentication steps imposed by your bank or provider.
Authorisation, capture and order acceptance
When you place an order, your payment method may be authorised or charged as shown during checkout. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not by itself guarantee acceptance. Our acceptance and the formation of the contract are governed by our Terms & Conditions. We will not dispatch an order unless payment has been successfully authorised or received.
Payment security
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment services made available through Wix and the payment providers enabled for this store. PICCADILLY STITCH does not intend to receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Payment and personal data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy & Cookies and the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy notice.
Declined or failed payments
A bank or payment provider may decline, delay or reverse a transaction. If payment fails, we may ask you to try again or use another method displayed at checkout. We cannot override a provider’s decision, and you may need to contact your bank or provider directly. No goods will be dispatched while payment remains incomplete.
Fraud prevention and verification
To protect customers and the store, an order may be subject to reasonable fraud-prevention and security checks. We may request additional information, delay processing, refuse an order or cancel and refund a transaction where we reasonably suspect unauthorised, fraudulent or unlawful activity. Any action will be taken fairly and will not affect your statutory rights.
Pricing or payment errors
If an obvious pricing, checkout or payment error occurs, we may contact you before accepting the order. Where payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot lawfully or properly fulfil, we will cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.
Payment-method charges
We do not impose a surcharge for the use of consumer debit cards, consumer credit cards or electronic payment services where such a surcharge is prohibited by law. Any charge that may lawfully apply to another payment arrangement will be clearly disclosed before the order is placed and will not exceed any applicable legal limit.
Refunds
Approved refunds are normally sent to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or expressly agreed with you. Refund eligibility and the time within which we issue a refund are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy. After we issue a refund, your bank or provider may require additional processing time before the amount appears in your account.
Foreign cards and issuer fees
Although we charge in GBP, a non-GBP card or account may be subject to exchange-rate conversion, foreign transaction fees or other charges imposed by the customer’s bank or payment provider. Those external fees and exchange rates are controlled by the provider, not by PICCADILLY STITCH.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a payment is incorrect, duplicated or unauthorised, please contact us promptly so that we can investigate. Asking us to help does not remove any rights you may have through your bank, card issuer or payment provider. We may provide order, delivery and communication records when responding to a chargeback or payment dispute.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for future transactions to reflect legal, security, payment-provider or operational changes. The version made available when your order was placed will apply to that transaction, except where the law requires otherwise.
Contact
For payment questions, contact us using the customer-service email address shown in the site footer and include your name, order number and a brief description of the issue. Do not send complete card details or security codes by email.
