Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective date: 6 September 2026
1. Delivery destinations
PICCADILLY STITCH currently accepts orders only for eligible delivery addresses in the United Kingdom. Orders with a delivery address outside the United Kingdom cannot be completed at checkout.
2. Fulfilment and dispatch
Products are supplied through third-party fulfilment partners and are normally dispatched directly from overseas fulfilment locations, including China. After payment is authorised, we submit the order for fulfilment. Processing and dispatch times may vary by product and supplier. We will provide a dispatch confirmation when the order has been accepted for fulfilment.
3. Shipping method and cost
Eligible orders are delivered using Free Tracked Shipping. No separate delivery charge is added at checkout. The postal operator or final-mile carrier may vary according to the product, supplier and destination. Tracked shipping does not guarantee a particular carrier or delivery date.
4. Estimated delivery time
The estimated delivery time shown at checkout is 10–25 business days. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. The estimate includes normal international transport and may vary because of customs processing, carrier disruption, public holidays, weather, address problems or other events outside our reasonable control. Unless a different period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made. Your statutory rights concerning late delivery are not affected.
5. Tracking
Where tracking is available, the tracking number or link will be sent after dispatch or added to the order information. Tracking may take several days to show its first update and may transfer between international and local delivery networks.
6. Address accuracy
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if an address needs correction. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfilment has begun. This does not affect rights arising where a delivery problem is caused by us or by a carrier acting on our behalf.
7. Separate parcels
Items in the same order may be fulfilled by different suppliers and may arrive in separate parcels at different times. No additional delivery charge will be imposed solely because an order is split into more than one parcel.
8. Customs and import charges
The price and any delivery charge shown at checkout are the amount we charge for the order. We do not intend customers to pay an additional import charge on delivery. If a carrier or authority nevertheless requests an unexpected payment, do not pay it without contacting us first so that we can investigate. This does not limit any rights or liabilities that apply under law.
9. Delivery problems
If tracking shows a problem, the parcel appears lost, the order is materially late, or an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us using the customer-service email address shown in the site footer and include your name, order number and a brief description. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may arrange a replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
10. Risk and statutory rights
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are physically received by you or by a person you identify, except where you independently choose a carrier that we did not offer. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return & Exchange Policy and applicable law.
Return & Exchange Policy
Effective date: 29 August 2026
-
Cancelling an online order
You may cancel most online orders without giving a reason. Tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. If one order is delivered in separate instalments, the cancellation period runs from the day you receive the final item. If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us promptly; if it has already been dispatched, follow the returns process below. -
How to notify us
Send a clear cancellation request to the customer-service email address shown in the site footer. Include your name, order number and the item or items you wish to cancel. You may also use the model cancellation notice at the end of this policy. -
Returning goods
After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days. Contact us first for return instructions and the authorised return address. Do not send goods to a supplier or any other address unless we have instructed you to do so. For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct return cost unless we stated otherwise before purchase. If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover reasonable return costs in accordance with your legal rights. -
Condition and handling
You may inspect and try on clothing as you would in a shop. Please keep items clean and unworn beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess their nature, characteristics and fit, with labels and tags attached where possible. We may make a lawful deduction from the refund if handling beyond what is necessary has reduced the item's value. -
Refunds
For an eligible cancellation, we will refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for premium or express delivery is not refundable. We will issue the refund within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or, if earlier, after you provide evidence that they were sent back. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and no refund fee will be charged. -
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Your statutory rights are not affected. Please contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where relevant. UK consumer law may give you a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days and, depending on the circumstances, rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund after that period. -
Exceptions to change-of-mind cancellation
The 14-day change-of-mind right does not apply where the law provides an exception, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, such as underwear where applicable. These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. -
Exchanges
Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. If you need another size or colour, follow the returns process and place a new order, subject to availability. Faulty or incorrect items will be handled under your statutory remedies. -
